CP Trading Company Limited was originally set up in 1945 and has been supplying food products to various outlets in Malta and Gozo ever since. Ours is a small family-run business. Our premises are in Mosta right in the centre of Malta. Primarily, we started as a wholesale company dealing within the retail sector, buying and distributing products from local suppliers. Eventually we shifted our company’s business directly into the catering industry and as we consolidated ourselves in the market, the need to start importing products from abroad was the next step forward. Now we have been importing products for approximately the last 15 years. Mainly our imports come from Europe and the Far East.
Over time our company has diversified as we sought to provide our clients with unique and specific products. In the modern catering world it is vitally important to have products and ingredients you can trust, complemented with building an excellent relationship with customers through a reliable service. CP Trading Company Ltd is now the exclusive importer of renowned brand names such as Pregel artisan gelato and pastry products , Valrhona French chocolate, Caffe’ Vergnano coffee and Macphie products for cakes, doughnuts and bread manufacturing.
